When is a good time to book a Communion Caterer in Cork?

Updated: Nov 14, 2019

This might surprise some of you, I know it surprised me when I first started catering! Its actually never too early to book a caterer for your Communion Event. My suggestion is to get on the phone and make some enquiries as soon as you know the date because unfortunately, the whole thing has kind of exploded in recent years. I couldn't actually believe when I received requests to book for May 2020 in January of 2019. Yes, January 2019. A year and a half in advance!(Apparently some schools rotate weekends bi annually so parents know that far in advance).

Personally, I would never be that organised but it seems to be more common than not that people have their caterer sorted by the September of the previous year at the latest.

There's no need to panic though. There are loads of Caterers in Cork who will be delighted with your call much later than that as we are all well able to squeeze in a few last minute bookings, especially if it means taking away a bit of stress from an otherwise overwhelmed mam or dad!

The moral of the story is do a bit of research. Price around. Look for recommendations from others or reviews on websites and make that booking as soon as you can so that you can be sure you've made the right decision for your child's Communion Day.
